Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Guardians!

Happy New Year and a warm welcome to the second half of our academic school year.  Our goal this year is to continue to create a community setting which is academically challenging, multidisciplinary, innovative, friendly, and safe for our children.

I extend a warm thank you to all the teaching staff, students and parents that helped or volunteered their time towards our annual Christmas school concert, which was held on Thursday, December 21, 2017.  A special thank you goes to Miss Natashia Viselli, our Christmas Concert Director and Mrs. Heather Lampman our Musical Conductor, who contributed their time to this important successful event.

Thank you also to everyone who supported our (PAC) Parent Advisory Council via Dominos Pizza tickets and the generous financial donations at the door.   I just want to bring to your attention three more important items that are coming up:

  1. (AGM) Annual General Meeting – Thursday, Jan 18, at 7:00 pm.
  2. Open House – Tuesday, February 6, at 7:00 pm.
  3. All Holy Cross School Re-Registrations for 2018-2019 school year must be submitted before Monday, February 26, 2018

If any parents wish to contact the school regarding any questions or concerns, or to share some information, please do not hesitate to either call or visit us at the office.
May God Bless you all!

The student council helps share students' ideas, interests, and concerns. They often also help raise funds for school-wide activities, including social events, community projects, and helping people in need.  Our Student Council members also work hard at creating a fun loving community here at Holy Cross.  Student Council has headed many fun activities so far this year.  In October, we had a pep rally, pajama day and movie night, as well as a Halloween Dance in the gym. In November we had a volleyball game between the teachers and students. In December, we had a Christmas parade where students wore Christmas colors or an “Ugly Christmas Sweater”, arranged a visit from Santa, and we sang Christmas Carols.

We have so much planned for 2018.  Stay tuned for more fun events!
