International Travel
The Chief Public Health Officer of Canada, Theresa Tam stated today that her advice to Canadians is to “postpone or cancel all non-essential travel outside of Canada.” The Government of Canada has also advised against travel on cruise ships.

The Government of Canada has also announced a series of other new measures to limit the spread of COVID 19 including reducing the number of airports that will accept international flights and asking all travelers arriving in Canada from international points  to self –isolate for 14 days as a precaution.

Manitoba Catholic Schools are asking all staff and families to re-evaluate all upcoming travel plans in light of the current situation and to monitor changing conditions.

Manitoba Catholic Schools are committed to working closely with all levels of Government during this pandemic and will rely on their expertise and recommendations. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
